Hi friends - I'm Annelise, otherwise known as Annie and I love capturing moments from a unique and artistic perspective! I don’t just show up and take photos - I love to collaborate with my clients to curate an experience that will last a lifetime!
My love of photography started when I was 14 and the journey has been an amazing ride ever since. I spent a large amount of time after college living in Cambodia and India to jump start my career as a documentary photographer and since then have worked in many different industries relating to photography, film, and production. I love it the most when my work takes me new places, because I am immediately dropped into that culture/experience with a couple or new assignment. You can currently find me based in San Diego, CA, always content to be meeting new people and working with other creatives.
I take a documentary style approach to all of my photography clients - weddings, families, and engagements included. This is what helps me capture raw and organic emotions! I like to imagine myself as that fly on the wall everyone always talks about. With this as the base of my approach I love to layer in editorial posing and style to curate a timeless and effortless collection of images.
